JamboreeIndia is the oldest educational institute in India with dozens of locations in Indian cities and at sites in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Nepal. They cite some impressive statistics with 25% of their students scoring 700 on the GMAT, averaging 680 overall and most taking the GRE score 320, the highest rates in the industry.
Jamboree is the number one study abroad facility in India and have been able to place students in top universities around the world including Cambridge, Columbia, Harvard, London Business School, MIT, Oxford, Stanford, Wharton and Yale.
Basics
Outside of their classroom courses, the comprehensive online prep programs include videos, tutoring mentors, official questions from actual tests, practice problems and sample quizzes. For those learning off campus, you can visit the Jamboree blog and they also offer weekly webinars to interact with other students and faculty members.
Jamboree Cost and Contact Info
JamboreeIndia offers a free, non-descript trial of the GRE and the no-cost GMAT format consists of three videos that cover an introduction to the GMAT itself, quantitative and verbal sections along with a diagnostic test to see where you stand in the scoring process.
The GMAT Online: Self-Paced Module (designed for students who prefer studying at their own pace) costs $299. GMAT Live classes start at $599 and the GMAT Test Series (include 12 Full-Length tests and 2 Official GMAC Adaptive Tests) costs $99.
Pricing for the GRE online platforms start at $69 for a preliminary “test ready” level covering the basics with six, full-length sample tests, webinars and analysis. Higher platforms include videos, practice questions, full length tests, optimized vocabulary, and AWA essays with review and webinars. The GRE Live courses cost $430.

I enrolled only for GMAT test prep. Based on my impression of their gmat prep, I decided not to use Jamboree’s admissions consulting service.
Let me divide my review into different sections covering each aspect of GMAT preparation at the branch of Jamboree Adhchini.
1. Material : if you want to get a score of 700+,then you can’t rely on their material. The verbal section is so much EASIER in their material than the actual one you get in GMAT. I had to purchase Manhattan’s verbal prep after I gave my first GMAT. My first GMAT was an eye opener for me.
The material for Quantitative Analysis is alright.
2. Online test prep : again, nowhere in comparison to the actual gmat level difficulty. I felt so good being able to score high in online exams, but actual gmat was a totally different ball game. Specially, the online verbal section needs a huge improvement.
3. Mock tests : they say that their mocks are more difficult than gmat. Don’t fall in that trap.
4. Teachers:finally, teachers are neither energetic nor motivated. It is difficult to get a one on one time with them for doubt clearing. Their logic to finding answers keep changing as per their convenience. I had to forget whatever I studied at Jamboree for Verbal to learn the right logic from Manhattan.
So, overall, the experience for gmat verbal prep at Jamboree was well below expectations.

Select the target universities. Talk to their current MBA students. Ask what worked for them in their applications. Then write essays and prepare videos.
Start applying early in September to target universities. Prepare very well for interviews. Mention in the interview that you talked to current students of their MBA program.

I went to Jamboree for Admissions Consulting. The consultant was very helpful and knew the colleges that I can target. But the first list given to me was of very safe choices and I had to do my own research also and ask them to suggest a few higher ranked schools also. This time they got back to me with a better list. The best part is that they are open to listening to you and are friendly and accommodating.

Taking GMAT is just 30% of task done for which there are a lot of resources available online. But post that, the student should do a lot of research in terms of talking to the students from the similar field in that schools and how they are finding the experience. At times job search in B-Schools can get tougher.

If you just want someone to keep you in check and monitor your progress, Jamboree is ok. But for actually prep material, content and tricks/tips, I didn’t find them very useful.
The focus on verbal needs to be seriously revamped.
