My Essay Review Overview

About MyEssayReview

myEssayReview is a review and editing company, rather than a full-service consultation service. They are not focused specifically on MBA programs, but have helped clients get into these programs. Their services are intended mainly for applicants who do not need extra support such as interview or test prep, but require additional help with writing.

Basics

myEssayReview offers four primary services, most of which are grouped into package bundles.

  • The main service is Essay Review, with up to four edits each for any given essay. Reviews are also available in multiple-school packages, expanding the number of essays that can be reviewed.
  • Resume Reviews are available in either 1-3 edits, and are focused on helping applicants truly stand out from the crowd.
  • Recommendation Letter Reviews are available in 1-4 edits, and are especially useful when the recommendation writers aren’t as adept at writing as applicants would prefer.
  • Finally, Hourly Consultation offers the opportunity to brainstorm ideas, discuss individual strengths, and plan the best way to use the three items listed above.

MyEssayReview Cost and Contact Info

I like the service and would like to recommend it to those who want to give your personal statement an excellent polish. To make the most out of the plan and time for both parties, I would any applicant to complete a decent draft, know what to be improved, and take the progress to the consult with specific discussion points.

      • MBA application & school advice: I believe that fit is very important when selecting an MBA program. It allows you to make sure when you are writing that your goals for your MBA education align with what the school program offers. Do not focus too much on your GRE/GMAT scores but focus on the fit that can be expressed in your essays and also during the interview process. Be genuine and things will come through and you will have an excellent chance to get admitted to your top choice.

      Rojin Raju:

My essay review helped me enormously with my MBA admission preparation. Being an non native english speaker, I needed extra inputs regarding the quality of my essays. My essay review was extremely helpful in giving me specific inputs regarding where I could make the maximum improvements in in my candidacy. I would recommend theirs services to anyone, especially non native english speakers. Use their 1 free essay review service and see if you like it or not. I believe its great value for money considering how much you might end up spending for your MBA anyways.

      • MBA Program & Grad Year: 2016
      • MBA application & school advice: GMAT, GMAT, GMAT. I couldn't stress enough for the importance of your GMAT out here. This doesnt mean your essays and work experience are not important. But this SCORE is the universal measurement across all candidates and a stellar score can really set you apart. Again, very very important if you belong to one of the over represented Indian/Chinese applicant pool.
